River City Ransom meets Soccer in
WORLD   CUP   SOCCER
One really has to wonder just how adaptable Technos is when all of their titles revolve around the same big headed characters. They've got them street fighting, playing dodge ball, doing track and field, apparently playing hockey, and yes--they even play soccer. Ya think Andy and Ryan would have needed fewer power ups had they not been so atheletic during the day before the kidnapping? Anyway, River City Ransom meets Soccer in Nintendo's World Cup Soccer.

So far there's only one game featuring the RCR guys I dislike, which is Crash N' the Boys Street Challenge. Happily, World Cup Soccer is NOT number 2. This is one amazingly fun soccer game. The controls deviate from RCR quite alot, but you can still feel the same energy. There's even special kicks and head butts which are executed Dodge Ball style. The coolest thing could be what happens when you pummel the other team too much--they simply pass out on the field. Ha ha ha!

I highly recommend trying this game out. It's not exactly pure soccer, but it is quite fun nonetheless.
