River City Ransom is a pseudo-3D action RPG fighting game created by Technos Japan and marketed in America by American Technos. It came out in 1989 and looks similar to another popular Technos title, Double Dragon. There have been sequels to the game in Japan, but none that contained the exact gameplay or style of River City Ransom.
